If every day seems the same to you, at Spreadable Magazine we propose a challenge.

As a starting point, do  the next exercise.

• Take a few minutes to remember the last month.  Discard those routine activities, those that are the same every day (preparing breakfast, watching TV, bathing, going to sleep). So what events stand out in your memory?

Perhaps they are few. The days are similar to each other. Although we can see different movies every day, the memory will be “I saw movies”. Every day, one day.

However, some events stand out in our visual or emotional memory: that day we tasted malbec ice cream, or that other day we dressed up to make a video call with friends.

When emotionally relevant or extraordinary events occur in the world or in society (such as the day the Twin Towers in New York were attacked), our autobiographical memory is capable of remembering not only the event, but also the conditions in which it took place. we were at that time. Where were we, with whom, and how did we find out? All context is saved in memory and becomes available again.

If it's just about getting out of a rut, we've got plenty of expert advice. Read a book, study something new, do physical activity, listen to new music. Alternating daily activities helps us get out of the routine and keep our brain in shape. Indeed, we can make new things happen every day that are good and productive for our physical and mental health.

#ChallengeSpreadable

• However, here we are going to increase the challenge and take it to another level. Can we provoke extraordinary memories?

You can do the test with your family or closest friends. We give you some ideas to surprise them and provoke unforgettable moments:

• In the morning. Leave a message of love written in an unexpected place of daily use: in the yerba mate container or in the coffee bottle, or a post-it on the seat. A "I love you very much" written on the roll of kitchen paper will be difficult to forget.

• At noon. Walk into the dining room with some unexpected wardrobe item. No need to stock costumes. How about a bikini over clothes, or a nice pair of goggles?

• In the afternoon. Replace the main light in a room with another colored lamp, or use a cellophane filter to achieve this effect. "Why are we seeing everything in pink?"

• At night. I hid a chocolate under the sheets. It will be a great surprise for each other before sleeping. "My house is like a 5-star hotel."

Keep it in mind:

• One shot. Remember that the "wow effect" only works once. To surprise again, never repeat what you did before, it would become routine.

• The secret is in the emotion. Schedule actions that you think will brighten the other's day. Or make him laugh a lot!

• Comment on this post and inspire others to do the #UntableChallenge .
